This Bay Shore native has just become a cheesehead.

Messiah Swinson, who played his high school ball at Long Island Lutheran in Brookville, has signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft, according to the agency that represents him, the Exclusive Sports Group.

The 6-foot-8 tight end played his last two seasons at Arizona State, where he grabbed 21 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Before that, he played for the University of Missouri, where he battled injuries.

Coming out of high school, Swinson was a three-star recruit, earning over 10 Division I offers. Look at this incredible grab he had at LuHi:

Swinson is the only rookie tight end the Packers have brought in so far. The team does have four veterans returning: Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft, Ben Sims, and fellow Long Islander Tyler Davis. Davis, a North Bellmore native, re-signed with the team this offseason after missing last year due to tearing his ACL in the preseason.

Swinson will get his first action with the team when rookie camp begins early next month.
