Lynda M. Saunders of Mattituck passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. Aged 81.
Lynda was born on November 19, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, to Margaret (née McGregor) and Eino Johnson. She works as a nurse at San Simeon’s Sanitary Nursing Home in Greenport.
Her son Franklin R. Saunders died in 2016; Linda is survived by Cynthia Cormier (Robert) of Riverhead and Pamela Conway of Southold.
The family hosted visitors at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck on July 16. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Savior in Mattituck on July 17, officiated by the Reverend Roger Jocelyn. Burials are private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
