Poll of real estate professionals ranks the neighborhoods with the most beautiful front yards.

Across the U.S., homeowners take immense pride in their front yards, which serve as a reflection of their community’s character and values. From coast to coast, these outdoor spaces showcase a diverse array of regional flora, landscape design trends, and architectural styles. The attention to detail and care invested in these front yards not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of individual homes but also contributes to the overall beauty and charm of the neighborhoods they belong to.

Waste Removal USA commissioned a survey of 3,000 real estate professionals in order to unveil the neighborhoods and towns which host the nation’s 130 most stunning residential front yards – an ode to America’s green-thumbed heart.

The top 10 were as follows:

#1. Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii

Nestled in a lush valley, Manoa in top position boasts older, character-rich homes enveloped in spectacular tropical landscaping. The area features an abundance of native Hawaiian plants and flowers, enhancing its natural beauty.

#2. Coral Gables, Florida

Dubbed “The City Beautiful,” Coral Gables showcases Mediterranean-style homes amidst lush, tropical gardens. The local residents display a deep pride in their beautifully maintained gardens, which typically include native palms, ferns, and orchids.

#3. Corona del Mar, Newport Beach, California

Corona del Mar in third captivates with its stunning ocean views and exquisite homes. The neighborhood is known for its impeccably maintained front yards that add to the charm and elegance of the area.

#4. Great Falls, Virginia

Set in a more rural, affluent region, Great Falls features expansive front yards with manicured lawns, elaborate gardens, and mature trees, all reflecting the luxurious setting of the area.

#5. Peachtree Heights East, Atlanta, Georgia

In the affluent Peachtree Heights East, elegant homes are complemented by beautifully designed front yards, often adorned with well-groomed hedgerows.

#6. Ansley Park, Atlanta, Georgia

Ansley Park in sixth place features winding streets lined with expansive homes and is renowned for its lush, well-kept front yards that enhance its historic architecture. The area boasts a mix of Southern traditional and modern landscaping styles.

#7. Ashland Park, Lexington, Kentucky

Ashland Park is distinguished by its large, early 20th-century homes surrounded by spacious and elegantly landscaped yards. The neighborhood embodies traditional Southern charm with expansive lawns and stately trees.

#8. Spring Lake, New Jersey

Often called the “Jewel of the Jersey Shore,” Spring Lake, in 8th place overall, is characterized by elegant homes with meticulously manicured lawns and gardens. These features showcase traditional and coastal landscaping elements that enhance the town’s Victorian architecture.

#9. Bar Harbor, Maine

As a gateway to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor homes blend rustic charm with sophisticated landscape designs, often emphasizing native plants and conservation-friendly practices.

#10. Grosse Pointe, Michigan

Rounding up the top ten, this collection of cities along Lake St. Clair is famous for its stately homes with impressive front yards that boast a mix of formal gardens and casual, family-friendly spaces.

New York had 2 neighborhoods boasting the most stunning front yards in the country. These were:

#47. East Hampton, Long Island

Renowned for its luxurious homes and celebrity residents, East Hampton’s front yards are a showcase of sophisticated landscaping, often featuring lush lawns, beautiful flower gardens, and privacy hedges.

#91. Forest Hill Gardens, Queens

A planned garden community that offers an array of Tudor-style homes with well-manicured front yards, including elaborate flower gardens and mature trees that provide a suburban oasis in the city.
