“It was truly a joy to join the North Bellmore community in celebrating the power of public education and how it changes lives and uplifts communities all over Nassau County,” Legislator Koslow said.

Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined with the Newbridge Road School community as they celebrated the educational institution’s 100th anniversary on Friday, May 3.

A birthday parade and dance party featuring music from every decade of the Newbridge Road School’s existence (pictured above) were the centerpiece of festivities that were designed to encourage students and staff both past and present to reflect upon their time at the school and its historic role in the community during the last century.

“It was truly a joy to join the North Bellmore community in celebrating the power of public education and how it changes lives and uplifts communities all over Nassau County,” Legislator Koslow said. “Congratulations to Principal Amanda Licci and her entire team for staging this wonderful event – here’s to another 100 years of the Newbridge Road School!”
