Police say two people were transported to the hospital.
A car crashed into a storefront in a Port Jefferson Station shopping center on Sunday at about 5pm. Police said that the operator of a 2023 Nissan appeared to have suffered a medical emergency while driving and the vehicle collided with a 2015 Cadillac, which then struck a building.
The vehicle crashed into an area between the entrance of a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Five Guys in the Nesconset Shopping Center located at 5120 Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station. Terryville fire department was on the scene and took the pictures shown in this article, which were posted to their Facebook profile page.
Two people were transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
