HIA-LI’s 46th Annual Meeting and Legislative Program will focus on Long Island’s largest and most promising economic development initiatives – and also include economic forecasts for the region for 2024. Topics to be covered will include affordable housing, zoning, business development and retention, prospects of a convention center, crime, and immigration.

HIA-LI, a powerful force for business on Long Island, advocates for Suffolk and Nassau counties with a special focus on support for the Long Island Innovation Park at Hauppauge, an economic powerhouse for the bi-county region. It is America’s second-largest industrial park and houses some 1,300 companies employing more than 55,000 people.
