Silvano Posadas, 35, of Bell Porter, was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Detectives from Suffolk County Police Squad 7 are investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist in Mustique on Saturday, July 22.
At around 8:45 p.m., a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Silvano Posadas was traveling northbound on Mastic Road when it struck a northbound 2010 Toyota Matrix parked at the Somerset Avenue intersection waiting to turn left.
Posadas, 35, of Bell Porter, was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Toyota, Molly Mills, 61, of Medford, was not injured.
Both vehicles were impounded for security checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the accident to contact Squad Seven at 631-852-8752.
