The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of CUPKIN Double Wall Stainless Steel Children’s Cups (8 oz and 12 oz versions), stating that ingestion of lead is toxic and can cause adverse health effects.

Both sizes of the recalled cups are sold in 12 different color combinations, including matching straws:

  • blue and green,
  • pink and purple,
  • blue and gray,
  • peach and blue,
  • Black and white,
  • coral and yellow,
  • green and pink,
  • Polignac and potpourri,
  • brown and peach,
  • Rust and salmon,
  • aqua and periwinkle,
  • Cobalt and Mint.

“Cupkin” is printed on the bottom of the front of the mug, and the mugs will be available online at Amazon.com and Cupkin.com for approximately $20 from January 2018 through March 2023.

Consumers should immediately keep the cup away from children and stop using it.
