The LIE at Exit 65 in Brookhaven will be closed in both directions for two nights beginning Monday, July 24, according to the NYS DOT announcement.
The closure will last from 10pm to 6am, weather permitting, and will establish a new temporary traffic pattern for the bridge maintenance project.
During the closure, all lanes will be diverted to secondary roads.
