Wednesday, July 19 will be partly sunny with temperatures generally in the 80s, according to the National Weather Service. There is a slight chance of localized storms and showers, especially further south.

Thursday, July 20 will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-80s again and a chance for scattered storms, mostly at night.

A larger storm system will develop overnight in the pre-dawn hours of Friday, July 21.

Showers are possible after dawn and thunderstorms are possible in the late morning, afternoon and night.

About a quarter of an inch of rain is expected on Friday, with localized amounts possibly higher.

Precipitation will taper off overnight, leading to a dry weekend with mostly sunny Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23, with temperatures in the 80s on both days.
