Joseph Hill, 40, and Stephanie Demola, 34, both of Morristown, were arrested on Monday, July 17, for robbery.

The pair first attempted to rob a Chase bank in Yaffink on Monday, July 10, but were not carrying any cash after a teller rejected their request, according to Suffolk County Police.

Hours later, the pair successfully hijacked a TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma, police said.

They are also charged with robbing the Webster Bank in Patchogue on Thursday, July 13.

In all three robberies, Demora reportedly wore a helmet and threatened violence unless her demands were met. She then fled on a waiting motorcycle, police said.

No employees or customers were injured in the incident.

Hill and Demora were each charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery.

They are due to appear at Central Islip First Local Court on Tuesday, July 18.
