The Suffolk County burglary occurred in April 2023 on Shelter Island near Silver Beach, according to Suffolk County Police.
Investigators said multiple people broke into the homes and started a fire in one of them, causing extensive damage. Another home suffered minor damage.
Alcoholic beverages were stolen from the first home, while the group brought their own drinks to drink at the second home.
It was not immediately clear if residents were home at the time and there were no reports of injuries.

The group offers cash rewards for leads leading to arrests.
