Nassau County Police and New York State officials announced that Mary Gratia, 66, was last seen leaving a Walmart at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream on Wednesday, July 12.
She is described as a 5-foot-2 female who weighs approximately 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown and gray hair.
Additionally, the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse reports that Gratia has dementia and may require medical attention.
Gratia was last seen wearing a black and white plaid jacket, blue jeans and glasses. She is carrying a black handbag.
Recent information suggests she may have been riding the New York City transit system in Queens.
Detectives encourage anyone who may have information on Gratia’s whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 516-573-7347 or 911.
