Three stars from Nassau County have been nominated for the Television Academy for their work, according to a list released Wednesday, July 12.

Natasha Lyonne had her first life on Great Neck and was credited for playing Charlie in Peacock’s Poker Face · Carl (Charlie Cale) was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

This is the fifth time Lyon has been nominated for the award. In 2019, she was in the running for three gold statues as a producer, writer and star in Netflix’s hit show “Russian Doll.”

Prior to that, she was also nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in Orange Is the New Black in 2014.

Joining the exclusive list is Uniondale High School alumnus Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Ralph, who won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance as Barbara Howard on ABC’s “Elementary Albert,” also won the 2022 won an Emmy Award.

She was also recently voted to leave a star on the Walk of Fame.

Bethpage-born Nicholas Braun also came in last.

Braun was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Greg Hirsch in the HBO drama “Succession.”

This is the third time Hirsch has been recognized for the position, having been nominated in both 2020 and 2022.

“Succession” topped the list with the most nominations, with 27 awards for the show’s final season, According to CNN.

As of this writing, the Emmy Awards are scheduled for Monday, September 18, though a Hollywood writers’ strike may affect that date.
