Michael S. Dawson
Michael “Mickey” Dawson of Port Charlotte, Florida, of Greenport and Southhold, Florida on July 5, 2023 Passed away peacefully at Tidewell Hospice in Venice, with his wife by his side. Aged 79.
Mickey was born and raised in Greenport, the son of Arthur and Florence Dawson. A graduate of Greenport High School, he moved to Florida in 1998 after owning/operating a plumbing/heating business in the North Fork for 33 years.
Mickey loves Florida life, boating, beaches, and the abundant wildlife in his backyard.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda (née Kaelin), son Kevin and granddaughter Kelsey in Bradenton, Florida. In addition to his parents, he has son Todd and siblings Geraldine and Robert.
Burial will be on New York’s Shelter Island, with a Celebration of Life later in Florida.
