The incident took place at Calverton on Saturday 8 July at around 7:35pm.
Suffolk County police say a 39-year-old Medford man was driving a 2022 Ducati motorcycle southbound on County Road 24 when it struck a 2010 Honda CRV that was Turn onto northbound lanes from the eastbound Long Island Thruway Exit 71 ramp.
A physician assistant at the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office declared the man, Yener Can, dead at the scene.
The driver of the Honda, a 24-year-old man from Shirley, was not injured.
