“It’s a pleasure to work with the Baldwin Fire Department and all of our brave first responders to ensure county funding supports their heroic mission,” said Legislator Mueller.

Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (Freeport Democrat) was awarded a $7,900 Community Revitalization Project (CRP) grant to fund the Baldwin Fire Department’s recent purchase of emergency command panels. Portable emergency boards will assist first responders in managing incidents, developing tactical plans, and performing tasks during emergencies.

“It is a pleasure to work with the Baldwin Fire Department and all of our brave first responders to ensure county funding supports their heroic mission,” said Legislator Mueller. “I will continue to use the CRP program to fund our first responders and ensure they Has all the tools needed to serve and protect the public.”

“We would like to thank Legislator Mueller and her staff for helping secure funding for these emergency command committees,” Commissioner Douglas Widman said. “We have used them in many incidents.”
