Emily Farrington was driving a 2014 Ford Mustang on Route 112 in Medford on Thursday, July 6, according to Suffolk County Police. Travel north.

Farrington, 18, was trying to turn left into a parking lot between Southaven Avenue and Tremont Avenue when she was struck by two southbound off-road vehicles at 12:10 p.m. car hit.

Tomeik Young, a 23-year-old man from Middle Island and one of the dirt bike riders, was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue with serious injuries.

A second dirt bike rider, 17-year-old Deandre Henderson of Bellport, was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Farrington was not injured.

Investigation is ongoing.
