Long Island Rail Road officials have released the identity of a man killed by a train.
Shaheryar Muzaffar Gill, 28, of New Hyde Park was killed in New Hyde Park around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 3, MTA officials said.

The incident, which is currently under investigation, caused train delays of up to 45 minutes.
He was reportedly on the rails at the time of the impact.
MTA officials said there was no suspicion of crime.
