Power broker and former reality star Fredrik Eklund is moving from Los Angeles to Miami and renting out his Beverly Hills home for $50,000 a month.

Eklund is one of the leaders of the Douglas Elliman Eklund-Gomes team, Announcement on 4th of July Instagram post.

He mentioned the expanding business in Miami, where one of his children attended a private school, and the need to be close to New York, where John Gomez is headquartered. Eklund-Gomes is the top resale team of 2022 with $291 million in sales.

The “Million Dollar Homes” star and her husband, Derek Kaplan, paid more than $7 million for their 5,700-square-foot home in the Tony enclave.

Built in 2017, the home at 9573 Lania Lane sits on about a third of an acre.

“I have built a strong team here and we will continue to set records,” Eklund wrote in the post. “However, my business expanded rapidly in Miami, and the twins got into one of the best schools there in the fall. Derek also has a super cool art studio in the Miami Design District. We just [excited] For this new chapter. I really needed to be closer to New York where the business was bigger than ever. Regardless, we absolutely love this house and I will always cherish these memories with my family. “

Eklund moved from New York to Los Angeles in 2019 after starring in “Million Dollar Listing New York” for 11 years.

In addition to thriving operations in Los Angeles, New York and Miami, he has recently expanded his presence in Austin, Texas.

According to his post, the Beverly Hills home he rents out has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, an office, movie theater, gym, sauna, pool, hot tub, three indoor fireplaces and one outdoor fireplace. Showings are scheduled to begin July 12.
