Chenza’s Twisted Tacos, a food truck converted, opened May 27 at 10560 Mattituck Main Road.

Since then, the taco shop has only garnered five-star reviews, suggesting it could become one of Long Island’s premier places for delicious tacos.

Owned by husband-and-wife duo Daniel and Shirley Wajdik, who have a culinary background and love of food, Chenza’s Twisted Tacos aims to create a “symphony of culinary diversity” by fusing tacos with cuisines from around the world.

With a menu that ranges from the more traditional (fish, birria, and carne asada tacos) to the very exotic (like lobster tacos, Italian tacos, and Korean tacos—in buns), it seems Chenza’s is Yes did just that, and received rave reviews.

Lindsay S. of New York, NY wrote on Yelp, “Can’t wait to get back here, everyone needs to try this place.”
