Herving Armmond, 38, of Huntington Station was riding a 2009 Suzuki near Exit 15 when his motorcycle veered off the road and struck a sign, killing him instantly.
Just before midnight on Saturday, July 1, 2023, State Police responded to a motorcycle accident near Exit 15 westbound on South State Parkway in Hempstead Township, Nassau County.
The operator of the motorcycle, Herving Armond 38 of Huntington Station, New York, was riding a 2009 Suzuki when his motorcycle went off the road and struck a sign, killing him instantly.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigative (BCI), Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) and Forensic Identification Unit (FIU) all rushed to the scene.
The accident is under investigation and state police are asking anyone who witnessed or has information to call (631) 756-3300.
