The South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO), the only state-of-the-art natural history museum in South Fork, Long Island, will host its 34th annual Summer Gala (Nourishing Power of Nature), honoring award-winning conservationists and 2023 Saturday, July 29, 6:00pm to 10:00pm at 377 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. The event will benefit SOFO’s educational and environmental programs and initiatives, enabling families to be responsible stewards of our planet and starting a conversation.


​​This year’s Summer Festival will be co-hosted by actors, directors, screenwriters, narrators, and producers Liev Schreiber and founder of SOFO Andy Sabin, as they honor some special friends of SOFO.The party hosting committee will include Sissi Bohlen, Carole Crist, Anke and Jürgen Friedrich, Kimberly Goff, Julia Haart, Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Kim and Greg Lippmann, Rolise Rachel, Susan and David Rockefeller, Ada Samuelssonand Sammi & Scott Soda.environmentalist Chris McDivitt Tompkinswho starred in the new documentary wild animals, There will also be special remote guest appearances.

Annette SabinThe Sabine family matriarch will receive a Posthumous Animal Advocate Excellence Award for her love of nature and wildlife, a continuing inspiration for her son Andy Sabin, who co-founded South Africa Fogg Museum of Natural History (SOFO) 1988 Naturalist.

The awards ceremony, dinner, auction and dance will be held from 7pm to 10pm. The event will be hosted by Andrea Correale of Elegant Transaction Catering, featuring flowers designed by Mark Mason, coffee drinks by Hampton Coffee Company and music by DJ Epic. Drinks in the evening will be served by Amagansett Wines & Spirits, Channing Daughters Winery, Lalo Tequila, Michael Cinque, JA Baczewski Monopolowa Gin & Vodka, Kidd Squid Brewing Co., Soirée Mocktails, Springs Brewery, Talkhouse Encore and Top Hops Craft Beer.
