Danny’s Chinese Kitchen at 2370 Merrick Road in Belmore has been voted the best Chinese takeout place on Long Island. Bethpage Long Island Picks 2023 awards.
Founded in January 2014 by brothers Daniel and David Antin, the restaurant has expanded to locations in Oceanside and Syosset branch.
“We’re not reinventing Chinese food, we’re just doing it right,” reads the restaurant’s ad. cry contour. “Fresh, authentic and neighborhood charm is what sets Danny’s apart.”

For mains, diners can choose from a dozen combo platters such as chicken or pork chow mein, king prawns, pepper steak and sesame chicken. The platter comes with pork fried rice and pork egg rolls.
On Yelp, satisfied diners recommended several popular dishes, including BBQ ribs, which one reviewer touted as a “must order, especially with fried rice!”
Another Yelp user raved about the restaurant’s wonton soup, writing: “I don’t like pork but this tastes so good I’ll ignore the fact that I’m eating pork.”
Danny’s Chinese Kitchen is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 9pm and Sunday from noon to 9pm. website.
