Suffolk County Police said Kenneth Eckoff, 70, of Mustique Beach, was identified as having committed multiple burglaries between Monday, May 22 and Sunday, June 25 case man.

In each of the burglaries, Eckoff removed front door glass and stole money from cash registers, police said.

Eckoff was found by detectives on Pine Street, Selden on Tuesday 27 June, having burglarized the following locations:

  • Monday, May 22 at the Rug Warehouse, located at 2970 Hwy 25, Lake Grove.
  • Villa Grazie Pizza, located at 1665 Hwy 25, Centereach, Friday, June 2.
  • Rainbow, Monday, June 5 at 27 Centereach Mall, Centereach.
  • Thursday, June 8 at the Rug Warehouse, located at 2970 Hwy 25, Lake Grove.
  • June 12, Jiffy Lube, 1064 Hwy 25, Selden.
  • Cochella Nail Spa, 3076 Hwy 25, Lake Grove, Wednesday, June 14.
  • Islander Laundromat, 1021 Portion Road, Farmingville, Sunday, June 25.

Eckoff was charged with seven counts of burglary. He is due to appear at Central Islip 1 Local Court on Wednesday, June 28.
