Keely Polczynski, a well-respected dealmaker in retail investment sales, joined the brokerage from CBRE in a major win for JLL.

Polczynski is now a managing director in JLL’s Chicago office and will report to senior managing directors Danny Kaufman and Jaime Fink, the brokerage announced Wednesday. Co-head of JLL’s Chicago Capital Markets office.

Polczynski joins JLL following the departure of Amy Sands, who left JLL earlier this year to take on the landlord side of the retail business as head of investments at New York-based RPT Realty. Polczynski, along with Michael Nieder, will lead JLL’s Chicago-based Midwest retail investment sales desk.

Polczynski spent 20 years with CBRE in Chicago, most recently as Senior Vice President of the firm’s Capital Markets and Institutional Real Estate team. Her former CBRE team reunited in 2020 after the brokerage restructured and entered into new partnerships. She is partnered with Blake Johnson, who has been with CBRE since 2016, focusing on office sales.

JLL representatives did not immediately make Polchinski available for an interview, and CBRE declined to comment.

Over the course of her career, Polczynski has brokered sales of more than $5 billion, placing her in the top 10 percent of CBRE brokers in the US, according to JLL. Polczynski has a BA in Finance from Murray State University and an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University.
