Charlie Gackenheimer
Charlie Gackenheimer, 74, of Katsig, NY, died June 24, 2023.
He was born on March 1, 1949, to his parents in Queens, New York. Charlie is a happy, caring, funny, witty guy, and he is also an excellent harmonica player.
His wife Jane died. his sister Sue; and his nephew Chuck.
Charlie attended Adelphi University for higher education.
Charlie’s career has included being a painter, handyman and general contractor. He is skilled at what he does and takes great pride in everything he does. Charlie’s hobbies include boating, music, and anything fun!
Funeral service will be held at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck on Thursday, July 6 from 4-7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held later.

Charlie will be missed by all who knew him.
