Each district has an overall grade of A+, with top marks for academics, teachers, college prep and administration.

In the diversity category, Half Hollow Hills received an A-, while Great Neck and Hewlett-Woodmere received B+s. The Jericho, West Osset, Roslyn, Herricks, and East Williston areas all received B grades, while Manhasset had the only B- grade.

Most regions also received high marks for sports, with Great Neck, West Osset and Manhasset all earning A’s for sports.

Jericho, Hewlett-Woodmere and Half Hollow Mountain received A-, Roslyn received a B, and East Williston received a B-. Herricks is the only C-.

At lunchtime, students will find the best cafeterias in the Hewlett-Woodmere and Jericho school districts, both of which have A+’s in the food category.

East Williston, Manhasset, Half Hollow Mountain, Herricks and Roslyn received A grades, while West Osset and Great Neck received B grades.

Districts also have student-to-teacher ratios below the national average of 17:1, the report said.

The ratio is 9:1 at East Williston and 10:1 at Hewlett-Woodmere.

Half Hollow Mountain, Theosset and Great Neck are reported to be 11-1. Jericho and Herricks have a student-teacher ratio of 12:1, while Manhasset and Roslyn have a 13:1 ratio.
