International retailers greet shoppers on June 22 as they continue their US expansion in New York State.
PrimarkThe international apparel retailer, which offers quality fashion at great prices, opened a new store today at Green Acres Mall in Long Island, New York, its second location on Long Island, to meet shoppers’ needs. The store will feature more than 35,000 square feet of retail space, offering popular fashion, beauty, homeware and quality essentials for the whole family at affordable prices.
With this new store, Primark continues to grow in and around New York. Green Acres will be the retailer’s seventh store in the state, with another opening in Albany this summer. Primark also plans to open in the next few weeks in Elizabeth, New Jersey, less than an hour from Manhattan. Green Acres is the Irish retailer’s 425day Global Store 18day Opening stores in the US – part of Primark’s growth plan to open 60 stores in the US by 2026.

Opening weekend kicks off at 11am on Thursday, June 22nd with store ribbon cutting and weekend of family fun with prize spins, music from the local area DJ Nicole Otero Freebies will be offered to participating shoppers on a first-come, first-served basis.The weekend will also feature favorite local favorites, while supplies last, including items from Wen’s Bakery Thursday, donuts from dough science friday and italian ice Andy’s Italian Ice Food trucks are available in the Primark car park on Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm.
