Loraine DiCuffa, 49, of East Mauriches died after the boat sank in Manorville at about 11.50am on Sunday, June 18.

According to Suffolk Police, a 38-year-old Shirley woman was driving a 2022 BMW southbound on Fording River Road when she attempted a left turn onto South Street.

The BMW then collided with a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle equipped with DiCuffa, which was driven by her husband, Delio, police said.

Both riders were ejected from their bikes. Loraine Dicuffa was later pronounced dead at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead.

Delio DiCuffa was taken by Suffolk Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was treated for serious bodily injuries.

His condition is stable but critical, according to a report to fund me Created to help families.

The driver of the BMW was not injured.

In the days since her death, social media has flooded with tributes to DiCuffa, a mother of three and former wellness coach at South Bay Health in Bohemia.

“Loraine is loved by everyone she meets. She always has a smile on her face that lights up a room,” reads the GoFundMe campaign.

“What she loves most is spending time with her children, laughing and being there for them all the time.”

Danielle Zanzarov Rodriguez, a colleague at South Bay Wellness, addressed the Facebook.

“Some people come into this world to change our lives. They are angels. I am so lucky to have an angel on my team, to have her in my life, and to be able to help her share her story with so many Talent,” Rodriguez said.

“Words cannot express how heavy my heart is and the loss of our healthy South Bay community.”

DiCuffa Visitations will be held at the Branch Funeral Home in Smithtown on Sunday, June 25th from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held at the same location.
