Conagra Brands has announced that it is recalling 2,717 pounds of Marie Callender’s frozen beef shepherd’s pie products that may contain clear, flexible plastic as intended, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). Unexpected side dishes.

The recalled product was manufactured on Wednesday, March 1, has batch number 5006306020, has a “use before” date of February 24, 2024, and has case code 2113100032.

They are sent to distribution centers and then to retailers across the country.

According to FSIS, the problem was discovered when the agency received multiple complaints about pieces of clear plastic in the meals, prompting the recall.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions in anyone consuming Marie Callender products. Anyone who may have kept the product in the refrigerator has been instructed to throw it out or return it.
