Chef David Myers to open restaurant Adrift Mare Brickell.
Adrift Mare will open next month in a 2,400-square-foot space on the 25th floor of the hotel at 1395 Brickell Avenue in Miami, according to an Adrift press release. Located in an 11th-floor atrium with floor-to-ceiling windows, the restaurant can seat 65 in indoor seating and 41 in a private dining room.
The restaurant will mark Miles’ first drift on the East Coast. After opening his first restaurant in Los Angeles, Miles went on to work in the culinary industry in Asia.
In 2021, Electra America Hospitality Group, a joint venture between Electra America and AKA, purchase The 36-story, 201-room hotel was then branded Conrad. The joint venture renamed it AKA.
Museum of Ice Cream | Miami World Center | Miami
An ice cream-themed interactive museum, which has twice had a pop-up in Miami Beach, is opening a permanent outpost across the land bridge.
The Museum of Ice Cream will open early next year in a two-story, 14,000-square-foot space on the Miami Worldcenter Promenade city center Miami, according to a press release from representatives of the mixed-use project. The museum will be located at 851 First Avenue NE.
Founded and led by Maryellis Bunn and Manish Vora, The Museum of Ice Cream opened its first pop-up store in Miami Beach’s Faena District in 2017. It returns in 2022 as a weekend pop-up pool party at the Greystone Hotel.
The Museum of Ice Cream also has branches in Austin, Chicago, New York and Singapore.
Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani, in partnership with CIM Group, are the lead developers of the $6 billion Miami Worldcenter.The 27-acre mixed-use complex’s retail tenant roster includes Rihanna’s lingerie line Savage X Fentylululemon and Chef Michael Beltran’s Laurel Tavern Dining room.

Terranova Corporation acquires three new tenants in miami beach and coral gables.

Led by Stephen Bittel, Terranova is a real estate company with over $1 billion in assets. In March, the company made its hheadquarters From Miami Beach to Coral Gables. Although the company has an extensive portfolio on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, it leased space for its new headquarters at 55 Miracle Mile from CGI Merchant Group.
