Henry Myslborski of Greenport passed away on June 18, 2023 at Greenport Sound Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in San Simeon. He is 86 years old.
He was born in Greenport on April 4, 1937, to Bruno and Lillian (Rempe) Mysliborski.
He graduated from Greenport High School in 1955 and served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959.
Henry has been with Grumman Aerospace in Calverton for 33 years and has received numerous awards for his work on special projects there. He is also a 65-year-old member of the Greenport Fire Department.
He enjoys fishing, making ponytails, driving race cars—he races at Riverhead Raceway and is a NASCAR fan—and making hot appetizers, smoked salmon, and kielbasa.
His daughter, Karen Mysliborski, died in 1996, and his wife, Carole, died in Greenport. His children, Andrew Myslborski of Southold and Linda Mysliborski of Greenport; and his grandson, Scott Ferguson of Greenport.
The family will receive visitors at the Houghton-Marty Funeral Home in Greenport on Sunday, June 25th from 2-6pm and the Fire Services at 5pm Funeral Mass will be at St. Agnes RC Church in Greenport. Funeral services will be held at Calverton National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
