The Homicide Squad reported details of an assistance case that occurred in Malvern on June 19, 2023 at 2:32pm.
A 69-year-old man was struck by a Bobcat excavator operated by a 29-year-old man while working on a construction site on a Malverne home, detectives said.
The male victim was seriously injured and was transported by Nassau County Police helicopter to a local hospital for treatment. He is in critical condition.
Investigation is ongoing.
