In response to uniformed patrols and community quality of life complaints, authorities conducted an investigation at the Red Door Spa at 454 New York Avenue in Huntington on Tuesday, June 13 at approximately 2 p.m.
Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police, Lijiao Chen, 46, of Flushing, Queens, was arrested and charged with:
- two counts of prostitution,
- Unauthorized Professional Practice.
Chen was released on a warrant and is due to appear at Central Islip First Local Court on Monday, July 3.
This action is performed by:
- Officer of the Crime Unit, Suffolk Police Force 2nd Division,
- SCPD 2nd Squad Detective,
- Huntington Township officials.
