According to the National Weather Service, the range of possible storm activity is from mid-afternoon on Wednesday, June 14, through Wednesday night.

“Rising warm air will rise rapidly under the intense June sun late Wednesday morning, causing clouds to build rapidly in the afternoon, turning into heavy rain and severe thunderstorms,” According to AccuWeather.com senior meteorologist Brett Anderson.

The system is expected to receive up to half an inch to three-quarters of an inch of rain.

After it passes, Thursday, June 15 will be the best weather for the week, with mostly clear skies and highs in the 70s.
