Jason A. Stern is a member of Weber Law Group LLP (WLG), one of the region’s premier law firms, specializing in commercial real estate transactions, land use, zoning, government relations, and federal and state litigation.


As WLG’s Litigation Director, Mr. Stern has successfully participated in a broad range of cases, from Section 78 litigation to serving as lead counsel in complex multi-party litigation and other high-profile cases, including multi-million dollar jury awards and New York The appeal, brought by the Court of Appeal, was hailed as a “landmark” victory for his client.

Mr. Stern has published numerous articles on substantive legal issues in the New York Law Journal, the National Law Journal, and the Suffolk Bar, for which he authored the monthly “Real Estate Development” column. Mr. Stern has been interviewed by several media outlets on significant legal developments, including Newsday, Long Island Business News, Real Deal and News Channel 12. Mr. Stern is a frequent speaker on such issues, and his legal opinions have been adopted in various attorney’s handbooks, including Bender’s pleadings.


Prior to joining WLG, Mr. Stern was an attorney in the national law firm Anderson Kill PC Litigation, representing clients in large federal litigation and a member of the Manhattan-based Anderson & Ochs LLP limitation boutique, where his practice focused on Complex commercial and real estate related disputes.


Mr. Stern received his BA in 1995 from SUNY Albany, where he received a Presidential Scholarship and graduated Full of praise and Phi Beta Kappa, and received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1998, where he was editor of the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy, where he received the Hon. Francis J. Bloustein Scholarship.


Mr. Stern is also a board member of the Wyandanch Plaza Association and a member of the Suffolk County Jewish Advisory Board, appointed by Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone.
