It happened just before 11am on Thursday, June 8 in Deer Park.
A man in traffic approaching the intersection of Commack Road and Marcus Boulevard was hit by what appeared to be a BB gun or gel rounds fired from a black Hyundai, according to Suffolk County Police.
When the victim got out of the car and confronted others, a male driver got out of the car, pointed a black pistol at the victim, and shot the tires of the passengers in the car, causing a flat tire.
The victim fled the area and contacted police. He doesn’t need medical treatment.
