Months into his tenure as head of Coldwell Banker Realty, Chief Executive Kamini Lane has promoted new executives who will run new, streamlined regions amid a nationwide brokerage reorganization, TRD Learned.
According to the company, the revamp involves “unifying the multiple Coldwell Banker Realty-operated metropolitan areas into regions” and will be led by regional presidents who will focus on developing new business and agent experiences.
Jennifer Lind, Coldwell’s president of Northern California since 2020, has been promoted to the new role of president of the company’s Western region. According to the Coldwell announcement, Lind will operate 124 offices in Northern and Southern California, as well as in Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest.
Reporting to Lind are Robert Burns, president of Coldwell Banker Bain in Washington and Oregon, and Mike James, regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Hawaii.
The announcement confirmed that the position of Southern California president will be eliminated. Jamie Duran, who has held the job since 2019, will pursue other roles with Coldwell Banker Realty and a sister firm of Coldwell’s parent company, Anywhere.
In the announcement, Lane said the restructuring was critical.
“Our success will depend on our ability to move faster, simplify our operations and deliver more value to agents and consumers alike,” she wrote. “I’m challenging our regional presidents to help us achieve these goals.”
For Coldwell’s Eastern region, Rob Norman, who is responsible for Coldwell’s New Jersey, Rockland County, New York and Philadelphia markets, will also be in charge of Central Pennsylvania and Westchester County.
Coldwell Banker Warburg President Frederick Warburg Peters will continue to lead the firm’s New York City office
For the Southeast region, Duff Rubin, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Florida, will lead the 129 offices in Atlanta, the Carolinas, Florida and the Mid-Atlantic states. Laura Rittenberg, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Atlanta and Carolina, will continue to manage the offices and report to Rubin.
Ayoub Rabah of Coldwell Banker Realty in Greater Chicago will lead 84 offices in Illinois, Michigan and Texas. Reporting to Rabah will be Charles El-Moussa, President of Coldwell Banker Realty in Texas.
