Suffolk Police said the three burglaries took place in Medford and Patchoag in Suffolk in May and June respectively.
Gregory Smith, 39, and Andrew DeMarco, 38, both of Farmingville, were arrested on Monday, June 5, on five counts, according to Suffolk Police. cooking oil from different restaurants.
Police said Smith was driving a rented van truck to fill a 500-gallon container with oil, while DeMarco served as a lookout in a 2023 Honda Accord.

Both are scheduled to be arraigned at Central Islip First Local Court at a later date.
Investigation continues. Police are asking anyone who thinks they may be the victim of a similar crime to report it to police at 631-852-COPS.
