Arthur Foster, a 60-year-old resident of Southold Town, died on June 4, 2023 at the age of 80.

Born March 29, 1943, he graduated from Greenport High School and enlisted in the US Army, spending three years in Vietnam. Upon his return, he founded his own company, Artco Drainage, with which he remained until his retirement in 2000. He has been a trustee of the Southold Town Board for many years.

After retirement, he moved to “The Great Outdoors” in Florida, an RV and golf community. He served on the committee for six years. He enjoys playing golf and traveling the United States in his RV with his wife, Lynn. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Manaril) Foster. His son, Tom Foster; daughter, Kelly Foster; his stepsons, Michael Manariel, Lisa Jackson and David Manariel; Michael Capuano and Jay Brother Jeffrey Foster; and 11 grandchildren.

He will be buried at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
