Timothy Taylor, 35, was arrested Friday morning, June 2, near Philadelphia’s Center City following a joint investigation by Philadelphia police and the US Marshals Service.

The arrest caps a weeks-long search for Taylor in connection with the murders of his girlfriend Theresa Gregg, 37, and his ex-wife, Tishawn Folkes Taylor, 44, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. -Taylor), Schenectady.

Gregg, a Department of Homeless Services officer, was found stabbed to death in her Williamsburg apartment on Saturday, May 13. cbs news report. Her body was found by her two daughters.

Two weeks later, on Sunday, May 28, Folkes-Taylor was found unconscious at her home in Schenectady on Pleasant Street, as The Daily Voice previously reported.

She was eventually pronounced dead at the scene, according to Schenectady police.

By Tuesday, May 30, detectives had identified Taylor as a suspect in the case.

The US Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Investigators did not speculate on a possible motive for the killing, nor did they list specific charges Taylor would face.
