Birdie’s Pub, located at 688 Fort Salonga Road, Northport, had its grand opening on Monday 24th April at the former site of the Seven Quart Tavern.

Under the direction of Chef Antonio Guillen, the restaurant serves a tantalizing range of entrees and ‘crafted’ cocktails. Facebook Page.

Menu options include the French Dip Sandwich, made with prime rib, caramelized onions, Gruyere, pickled jalapeños, gravy and chips.

Diners can also choose from a 28-ounce bone-in ribeye steak served with truffle butter and onion rings, or black halibut with orzo salad with cipolini onions, bacon, sun-dried tomato pesto and asparagus.

Appetizers include spring rolls made with buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumble and chipotle ranch.

At the bar, patrons can choose from a variety of cocktails such as the espresso martini or the Uptown Girl, made with vodka, lychee, Saint-Germain, lime and grapefruit.

In just a few weeks of opening, Birdie Bar has already garnered plenty of positive reviews from satisfied customers.

Among them was Brian N. of Forest Hills, whose cry Reviews praised the restaurant for its “excellent food, drink and service”.

“This restaurant is a welcome addition to Northport,” he wrote. “We will definitely be back.”

Another Yelp user in Melville, Garey D., got some dinner recommendations after a recent visit.

“We started with a great Duck Island Bakery bread basket that really recommends. You can fill the appetizers so easily, it’s hard to stop eating them,” he wrote.

“The pork belly sliders are a must, as are the spring rolls and tuna tartare.”
