High temperatures in the mid-80s are expected on Thursday, June 1, with hazy sun and dappled smoke from wildfires in Nova Scotia moving west, according to the National Weather Service.

Prevalent high temperatures in the 80s to 90s are coming on Friday, June 2.

Showers and storms are possible by early afternoon as the backdoor cold front advances from the east.

The chances of storms and showers will increase Friday night and continue into the night.

The passage of the frontal system will bring another temperature shift this weekend, with highs around 70 degrees and partly clear skies on Saturday, June 3. (See image above from AccuWeather.com.)

Overnight lows will be in the 50s from Saturday night to Sunday morning.

Sunday, June 4, was mostly sunny and continued to be cool with temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
