Farmingville resident Daniel Bovich claimed his $1 million Millionaire Maker scratch-off game winnings, New York Lottery officials announced Wednesday, May 31.

Bovich opted to claim his winnings in one lump sum and, after required tax withholding, took home $651,000.

He purchased the winning ticket at Gary’s Gulf, 5556 Express Drive South, Holtsville.

As of May 31, the Millionaire Maker lottery game had 15 more jackpots, according to lottery officials.

Players can download a game report from the New York Lottery website to check the status of their scratch games.

The New York Lottery Scratch Game generated revenue of $4,517,682 in fiscal year 2021-2022.

During the same period, the Suffolk County School District received $270,015,864 in Lottery education assistance funds.
