The de Montron family, longtime resident of a luxury estate in Houston, owns a dozen regional auto dealerships from Cleveland to Texas City.

The 7,000-square-foot home at 700 Pine Shadows Drive in the Tanglewood neighborhood is listed for $3.9 million, Houston Chronicle Report. Nan and Co. Properties CEO Nancy Almodovar will act as listing agent.

The mansion sits on about an acre of land. It has five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Its 46,000-square-foot lot size is the largest among active listings in Tanglewood, where the median home value is about $2 million, according to the Houston Association of Realtors.

Almodovar said the property had already attracted interest from local residents, who had been eager for a larger piece of land. She also mentioned that it was near a private park.

“They liked Tanglewood, so some existing homeowners in the neighborhood were interested in us,” she told the outlet.

Members of the DeMontrond family moved into the house in 1992. They bought a seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom estate in River Oaks in March for $16 million.

Given the abundance of inventory in Houston, the 700 Pine Shadows property may be on the market for a while. As of April, the number of available properties jumped nearly 63% year-over-year. The average listing price is also near a record high in Hekou City.
