From Wednesday, May 31 through Friday, June 2, eastbound lanes of State Parkway North in Huntington will operate between Exit 40 (Interstate 110) and Exit 41 (Wolf Hill Road) from 10 p.m. to Closes nightly at 5am.
During the closure, drivers can detour along Route 110 to the Long Island Freeway (I-495), according to the Department of Transportation.
The closure will allow crews to continue with drainage restoration projects.
Traffic officials are encouraging drivers to be cautious when making detours and reminding the public that fines for speeding in work zones are doubled.
