The high temperature on Tuesday, May 30, is said to be in the 60s to 70s with mostly sunny skies but haze in some places, mostly due to a plume of smoke from wildfires in Nova Scotia that will move from east to west arrive. National Weather Service.

As a result, air quality may decrease. (See picture above.)

Wednesday, May 31, will remain dry with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 70s.

Things will heat up as the calendar flips from May to June.

Look for high temperatures in the mid-80s on Thursday, June 1.

On Friday, June 2, widespread highs in the 80s are on the way, with mercury hitting the 90-degree mark in some places.

We’ll see another temperature shift this weekend, with highs dipping to the mid-70s on Saturday, June 3, with partly cloudy skies.

Showers are possible from mid-to-late afternoon on Saturday afternoon, which will end a string of dry conditions.
