The new era of “The Real Housewives of New York” will feature some real estate faces.
Douglas Elliman’s Kelly Killoren Bensimon Returns to TV Screens in Bravo’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Journey: Legacy of RHONY .
Ben Simon will join Douglas Elliman’s agent, franchise veteran Ramona Singer, and four others as the stars of the series’ fifth season — which premieres on NBCU’s Peacock streaming service.
The show will follow the former RHONY star to the salt flats of St. Barthelemy. It was originally planned to air on Bravo as a stand-alone series, but the network put the series on hold in January.
While filming has yet to begin, Bensimon, who licensed the island through Douglas Elliman’s Knight Frank, said she hopes audiences will get a sneak peek. If not, she said she still plans to visit her clients and listings while she’s in the area.
“My bikini is my best uniform,” she says.
Ben Simon said her 12-person team will continue to serve her listings across the city, as well as in the Hamptons, South Florida and California, while she’s out filming.
Since debuting on the show in 2009, Ben Simon has emerged from her career as a writer for the likes of Page Six and Assouline Books to devote herself fully to real estate. She started working at Dolly Lenz Real Estate in 2017 and moved to Warburg the following year.
Bensimon joined Douglas Elliman in 2019 as part of Holly Parker’s team before forming her own team in 2022, the same year the company named her Rookie of the Year.
“It was too fortuitous for me,” BenSimon said. “My life has changed a lot since I joined the show 10 years ago.”
Douglas Elliman’s Erin Lichy will also head to the RHONY universe as part of an all-new cast for the show’s season 14 reboot. After low ratings plagued season 13 and prompted the network to cancel the reunion, Bravo announced the revamped series.
