The house was dilapidated and debris was strewn all over the house until the town was cleaned up and ready for demolition.

Recently, Deputy Superintendent Dan Panico and Peconic Lake Estates Civic Organization (PLECO) member Charles Guthrie were on site to demolish a vacant home at 103 Pinehurst Drive in Calverton.

The house was dilapidated, with debris strewn about it until the town government cleared it up and prepared it for demolition.

Once the demolition and debris removal is complete, the property will be kept as open space by the town. The demolition is part of Deputy Superintendent Panico’s plan to clear property across the District 6 Council block.
